Intercultural Achievement Award 2022

CONCORDIA Social Projects received the Intercultural Achievement Award 2022, Innovation category, for its work aimed at empowering women and girls of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in the Municipality of Prizren. The Intercultural Achievement Award (IAA) is a key project of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. The award honors successful and innovative civil society projects in the field of intercultural and interreligious dialogue, both in Austria and on a global scale. We were honored to receive the award from H.E. Christoph Weidinger, ambassador of Austria in Pristina during an event organized on October 18 at his residence. The event was attended by Jörn Rohde, the German ambassador in Pristina, the mayor of the Municipality of Prizren, Mr. Shaqir Totaj, Mrs. Mimoza Gavrani, activist for the rights of the RAE community, Mrs. Gresa Abrashi from the Austrian Agency for Developers representing the CONCORDIA Board and the German CONCORDIA Supervisory Board.
